Our story
Hi, my name is Cass. I’m passionate about helping children and young people take control of their thoughts and emotions. It concerns me to see so many young people struggling with emotional challenges and how these issues affect their overall well-being and development.
I am a certified Wisdom Children’s Life Coach with expertise in Wellness Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Trauma Response Coaching, and Counselling. With personal experience of challenges such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and major depressive disorder, I founded Compelling Minds to educate and empower young people. My mission is to prevent these struggles and help children build a strong sense of self.
The impact of my work is incredibly rewarding. I am driven daily by watching children develop confidence, inner strength, and resilience. I’m excited to see the incredible potential your child can achieve.

Blog & News
Does your child have low self-esteem, negative self-talk, or low confidence? Are they shy, moody, worries or experiencing peer pressure concerns? These are just some of the reasons to include a coach in your team.
Definitely. Coaching can be highly beneficial for neurodivergent children and young people. It is best to inquire with your coach about specific training or any tailored approaches they offer.
Look for certification, strong communication skills, a keen interest in personal development, trustworthiness, and transparency. It’s also essential that the coach involves you as a parent or caregiver in the process.
The length of coaching depends on your family’s goals. No two children are the same, and emotional well-being doesn’t follow a specific timeframe.
Psychotherapy focuses on healing the past, while coaching emphasizes the present and future. Coaches guide and facilitate progress toward defined goals but do not diagnose conditions.
Absolutely. Collaboration with other professionals can be highly beneficial for achieving success.
Coaching sessions may include mindfulness exercises, role-playing for confidence building, emotional expression techniques, and tools for stress management. Coaching is centred around your child or young person and adaptable to their needs.
Coaching helps children develop life skills such as resilience, effective communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. These skills are foundational for long-term success and happiness.
